tbh, I think you're ceding too much. The only reasonable way to parse "denying my right to exist" is as a genuine threat. AFAICT this phrase was manufactured to conflate opinion with threat. The meta convo is littered w/ turns of phrase meant to equate disagreement with violence.

People should feel free to have or not have whatever conversations. Frankly, it's perfectly reasonable to feel that a pre-req for speaking with you is some shared reality around who you are and how you ought to be able to live your life. But this hyperbole is poisoning the air.
