If you actually want something significant and enduring, you have to play infinite games with the people around you. Conmen have to keep moving; they can enjoy themselves along the way at the expense of others, but they can't build or accrue anything for long.

ah, when you add “significant and enduring” to that it does take a different tone. But just saying knows what they want out of life and pursues it, then that sounds like running people over to get there is OK.

One of the errors of "got away with it" philosophy is it they don't understand the infinities they are involved with. The infinity of being a universal explainer or if death is solved the got away with it and retired won't make sense.
