I'm thinking of arranging a virtual nonfiction book club wherein everyone participating reads a *different* book relevant to a common topic

Having hit 200+ members, we're splitting into several groups covering different ground. This month we're covering three topics: 1) World-building (fiction, experiential, city/state planning, etc.) 2) Conspiracy theories 3) Education There's still time to join :)

As a college student with little time to read books outside of my required coursework, would it be ok to join this just to be a fly on the wall for the discussions?
-
Yep yep — I think it'll be sort of an a la carte thing; if someone isn't interested enough in the current topic to want to read a book about it, they can still join the discussion & wait for the next one
