Ocarina of Time maybe changed my life? Like, the starting zone feels so compete, self-contained... but it turns out you're only missing a key tool to open up this massive, qualititatively different universe. And then it happens again, and again. The right kind of kid crack magic.

When my son and daughter each turned five they sat in my lap and helped me play Ocarina start-to-finish. Still convinced that belongs among the top of my parenting moments. New generations may be exercising synapses in ways humans never could before.
