Japan-style toilets, a technology which, if it did anything less sensitive than what they actually do, would be unnecessary to recommend because virtually everyone reading this thread would already own one.

Rats are the bestest pets. Small, fluffy, super smart, cheap, and low maintenance. It's also hella hipster and attracts lots of interest and conversation when bringing them on the train.

And if one is new to pets they don't live more than 2-3 yrs so not a huge commitment :) -
Can confirm, had a very dope rat named Mr. Stripey Face. The 2-3 year lifespan lands solidly in the "cons" category for me, though. RIP MSF.
