It doesnt make any sense though. A woman doesnt have to give up her career with the right support. If you have funds, you can get childcare. And if she is attractive because she is intelligent and capable, why would you want her to give up her career?

I think the point Mason was making is that there exist women, possibly including her, that would choose that situation. Also, I am not a woman, but I would happily choose to spend less of my income on childcare and do more of it myself, if high paying work came in smaller units
