Thank F*ck no one can touch me isn’t the same thing. And yeah sustainably hopefully all parents have reprieve from the intensity of caring for their kids. Even if the best of situations you still have to like, be on point at every moment, and be the best version of yourself.
Man, it’s just not doable. People don’t want to be parents because being on-point at every moment is not something any human can do & nobody wants to live with a pervasive sense of failure
Ya I mean no parent wants to f*ck up. And I mean we are here (not unscathed bc daddy issues or w.e.) so like, maybe it’s not about@perfection. Though I will say I do love to remind my own parents of their short comings
To bring it back to the point though, it’s probably that the benefits of having kids end up outweighing the intensity. (Have you ever cared for@kids?)
