I'm solidly in "you do you" territory in the end, but breastfeeding is unquestionably the best default option, both for the nutritional benefits & the increasingly well-evidenced impact on bonding

Sounds like the need for supplementation is largely dependent on when baby starts accepting solid foods, but I don't find it hard to believe that milk isn't 100% sufficient in all cases. My point is just that breastfeeding is clearly the best default for routine feeding
