Entire political campaigns have been run on the basis of fewer commitments with more realistic prognoses. If you put "genetically engineer actual unicorns" in there, it would be one of the better specified & more achievable objectives

Most of these goals are laudable — but as a package, completely infeasible. They're not even clearly articulated. There's no policy or proposal here. The only justifiable headline would be something like "Freshman Rep Demands Promise We'll Fix Literally Everything, Somehow"

I find it intersting that the original New Deal with FDR was born to solve the Great Depression. The GND is being rolled out at the maturing phase of a ten year bull market.
