Plenty of people have tried to shut him up, but Peterson is relentless when there is something worthwhile fighting for. It's his gumption more than his enemies' weaknesses.
Oh, I know. That's why I say "can't." It's not a feature of his enemies, but IMO it's only partially a feature of himself — the more important thing is the dynamic between the two; he doesn't have any social/identity/ego assets they can seize
