She'd gotten so much help that it's actually kind of hard to say what she could or couldn't do... some of us actually got in a bit of trouble for helping, because she couldn't explain her own code. She certainly made FizzBuzz-esque mistakes, eg poorly organized if-else statements

Money is a fine motivator. Sounds like this person was a pretty bad coder and even given a few years would be pretty bad. But she managed to write some if else statements at the least
