The divorced guys have a track record of being able to commit. Better that than a guy pushing 40 who’s never had a serious partner.

100%, never-married at 40 seems a much bigger red flag than a divorce. Very open to divorcees & dudes with kids

That's a very irrational thing to say without considering why someone is single at 40 and why some is divorced at 40. This is the sort of way of judgement that makes me resent society.

The thing about heuristics is that they’re heuristics. I’m not saying I wouldn’t date someone >40 who’d never married; I already have, and I’ve learned from it. Also, frankly, you can fuck off if you think my dating prefs justify any resentment on your part whatsoever
