I think my dating problem is that I keep seeing people who are also single past 30. Like, clearly we’re both terrible at this

Rich guys have the same smorgasbord of relationship hangups as everyone else, plus the unavoidable pernicious knowledge that the supply of attractive 22-year-olds is inexhaustible. Many of them do still try, but it restricts the tolerances for turbulence that relationships need

What about dudes in their 40s who have just left a shitty marriage? There could be some gold in that mine.

The divorced guys have a track record of being able to commit. Better that than a guy pushing 40 who’s never had a serious partner.

100%, never-married at 40 seems a much bigger red flag than a divorce. Very open to divorcees & dudes with kids

I wouldn’t say “never married” is the issue — plenty of men who have never been married have had committed relationships — but rather the guys who have been on one casual fling after another since their early 20s.

Think it might be a little different when you’re big on kids — people do tend to marry when they’re interested in building a household for tiny humans; long-term cohabitation is a weaker signal for interest on that front
