(This also IMO explains the phenomenon of boring-attractive people. Of course there are exceptions- some are aware of this loop and want to get out of it, others are lucky enough to discover an alternate world, and be interested in it. But the easy thing is to do the easy thing.)

There’s also some mobility re: attractiveness — like being poor, it’s terrible being a fat kid, but it’s tough deny the value in realizing it’s possible to hit escape velocity & discover heights beyond the local peaks
