I do *actually* want to know if the @voxdotcom team considers rewriting a disputed/debunked headline without issuing a correction within policy, or if it thought this once instance was an exception
and with that, I'm done writing about this godforsaken story — it's depressing to ruminate on how easily the media gets taken in & how quickly influential adults will call for a pound of children's flesh
I like Vox a lot, but they're very free with rewrites/edits, with little transparency into how articles have changed. I'd love for them to maintain a history of all updates, Wikipedia-style (but with a better UI).
