they've now completely rewritten the headline & sub-header, with no update note & without editing the "updated" timestamp

I do *actually* want to know if the @voxdotcom team considers rewriting a disputed/debunked headline without issuing a correction within policy, or if it thought this once instance was an exception
and with that, I'm done writing about this godforsaken story — it's depressing to ruminate on how easily the media gets taken in & how quickly influential adults will call for a pound of children's flesh
