Yes. Our country is currently badly, badly broken. There are still some people who protest in an effective way, and many people who are not. But if you say "protesting doesn't make sense at all and any protest is probably just shouting at your enemies" you missed the point.

I am not looking for something to be bothered by. I saw your confusion about protests and thought I might share what I considered valid purposes of public protest (like the one that incited the current public outrage stream which I assume prompted your tweet).
