What a finely put together tweet, this won't leave my mind for some time.
"My mind ain't gonna run me." Expressed to me by an old blues dude when I was a teenager. He used it anytime someone brought up anything that irritated the speaker. Politics, relationships, finances. Took me a while to see that he disregarded all default Mode Network thinking.
