The continual praise of JUUL is disgusting. I can’t believe people buy the PR spin that it makes us healthier because “it’s not cigarettes.” A tiny % switch from cigarettes to something (maybe) marginally less harmful in exchange for re-addicting large swaths of the population.
I smoked for a couple of years (sometimes more than a pack per day at peak) and then bounced between vaping, patches, and gum (mostly the latter) until I quite entirely about 4 months ago

So do you think the vaping/patch/gum helped or it only depended on your will/desire to quit?

I tried to quit many times over ~10 years. No trouble switching to nicotine products from smoking, but the addiction worsened. By the time I quit 4 months ago my nicotine dose was equivalent to 2 packs of cigarettes/day. My detox was a living hell — sweats, vomiting, nightmares
