The simulation can only support so many fleshed out characters, so you run into them more often that you'd expect to.

I went to a new city, at short notice, for the first time. I went to a salad bar and got into a conversation with the server (Keiko). A few hours later I went to Starbucks and Keiko was the barista who served me.
