People overestimate how intelligent they need to be to do interesting things & underestimate the value of virtually every other trait. Run a psychological inventory on yourself, including traits that seem helpful, uncommon knowledge & mental procedures w/ multiplicative impact

Don’t get me wrong: raw IQ is massively valuable. If you could buy it, it’d be worth emptying the bank account at almost any imaginable rate. But people within IQ brackets that easily permit them to further fields & build new things often think themselves too dumb for that
