This reminds me of Dee Dee Blancharde and her daughter Gypsy. Dee Dee raised her daughter as wheelchair-bound, brain-damaged, and with leukemia. She shaved her daughter's head and medicated her. It ended with Gypsy, at 23, getting a man to stab her mom to death in her bedroom.
