(I tease, but it was a really interesting talk on a couple of levels, one of which was his on-the-fly, almost conversational format. it's really striking in person. I've never seen anyone treat a stage quite that way.)

Def doing a thread on this. I missed the first half of the talk, but what I heard was great. A couple big insights (mostly re: how anti-social/self-destructive behaviors are reinforced) & at least one major point of disagreement that I’m giving a lot of thought (re: schools)

Most people get on stage to lecture. He actually tries to dialogue with the audience and think rather than know. It’s a useful format for growth. But like sitting in a writing room, you might come up with a spur of the moment bad idea that people can Ridicule you for.
