In fairness, they're probably acting on the idea that they need to plant the seed for done kids that it's even an option. At parent conferences last week, I had a freshman break down crying when I told him in front of his mom that he was capable of going to college.

Unschooling parent here: IMO, any institution that claims to be able to predict the jobs market more than 5 years out has proven itself an idiot not trustable to predict the jobs market. A form of the shady investment claims that you can get rich buying a particular stock.
