Trying to identify all my contrarian combos — sets of beliefs that make me insufferable to approx. everybody e.g. kids oughta run free, unsupervised, generating chaos + bruises & possibly requiring an ER trip AND we should ban most kids' organized sports due to concussion risk

Only 25% from sport, most over 10 years old: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2492044/ … My guess is it's hard for little kids to get head injuries because they can only have low momenta. Something to be said for parents pushing kids harder than they push themselves at these organised sports.

FWIW: I played "non-organised" rugby league as a kid. After 6ish years of play, I never so much as bumped my head. No more risky than normal "rough house" play teenage boys get into. There's something that raises the stakes with parent spectators watching that makes it worse.
