It does, yeah. My initial reaction was too favorable to the journals, simply because WSJ's reporting left out information that I would have needed to judge. I've seen more excerpts since. Probably, every paper was very bad. After all, they were supposed to be hoaxes.

I really wish we lived in
@Meaningness's ideal, where we could subject every discipline to such hoaxing equally, and really judge which ones are stronger. But I also wouldn't mind living in dath ilan or the Culture. To wit, we're at least one massive social reconfiguration away. - 1 more reply
