FWIW, I keep running experiments on the food thing, but I've mostly landed on "eat food that you kinda like but don't like *that* much." Otherwise, I'm quite prone to overeating and have to do loads of label-reading/counting/record-keeping to keep from gaining a bunch of weight

It's actually pretty tough to find convenience food that's not hyperpalatable! At home, it's mostly unseasoned meats and raw veg. But if I'm looking for something at e.g. a gas station, I'm kinda at a loss unless I can find some almonds or something (peanuts don't agree with me).
