Help me out, Twitter: I've been invited to "teach a class" (I think I have a lot of leeway over format, but it will be 1-2 sessions/week) at a small school for highly gifted children. Which non-standard subjects/projects/formats would be fun to play with?

I was going to say something like this, from my lens/background of creative writing / expression. Kids have a lot to say, gifted kids often more so, but most aren't used to being taken seriously by adults. hold a genuine-curiosity frame and they'll remember you forever

although hm maybe at this particular school they'd be already used to it...? outsiders are always interesting though. I would try to poke around and ask them things like "what aren't you allowed to do here", etc. every room has norms

They have a *lot* of agency/free time at this school, but it'll still be interesting to explore the boundaries
