I felt the same exact way. Also, it pairs well with stubborn attachments. Two books from wildly different backgrounds coming to many of the same conclusions

What’re some others?

FoR. I'd guess something like "Conjectures and Refutations" and "The Open Society..." as well. Shorter things like Descartes' Meditations and, Hume's "A treatise on Human Nature" - I get the sense those guys were really struggling hard over every word, let alone each sentence.

This book filled me with hope and optimism and taught me that knowledge is what really matters in the world.

It reinforced in me that people matter in the universe because of creativity and explanatory knowledge. But we may also fail to survive, what matters is whether we can acquire and use the relevant knowledge in time.
