How do you manage your “to read” list? Examples:
• My friend @danielgollahon queues all blog posts/books, consuming (roughly) serially
• @patrickc talks about sorting for most value
• Mines a mess. Big pile of laundry on the floor, socks go missing, pick randomly from the top
There’s literally a pile of like 6-8 books on the left side of the bed where a life partner should go

So funny—I used to pile books exactly like this, until one night I rolled over in my sleep and took the edge of a hardcover to the eye. I impaled myself on a Paul Auster novel.

I read in hypertext (unless something is v urgent or crime book). So I end up creating "pool" of 4-10 books around some theme & read for couple months going back & forth when I find the "tunnels" - i.e. X mentions Y so I move to Y; read that; Y mentions Z; Z mentions X, etc.
