My first dog was so thoroughly abused in her early years that she could not understand when another dog was trying to play with her — weak play signals would get a growl, strong would get a bite. She reminds me of most people.

I think it’s possible to have all those things and not be a narcissist, it’s possible to not have any of those things and be a narcissist, and to have and be both. I think Elon is correct when he says that he might be one
