I'm not really dependent on caffeine... I do sometimes have a lot of coffee, but then I'll easily go without it for a few days and not really notice. Might try abstaining from alcohol for a bit, since it's a BIG social crutch for me

What exactly is your major motivation for giving nicotine gum up? Is it a sort of, “I don’t want to continue doing this pattern” sort of thing, or otherwise? Nicotine gum, even abused isn’t really that unhealthy (on a scale of smoking/motorcycling)
