I've been on an essentially zero-sugar diet for about a month (since 8/7), and that's been tougher, in some ways. I don't know if I'm just developing a taste for masochism, but I just really don't want to be owned by any of these very easy and natural desires

it's important to remember if you screw up it doesn't take you back to day 1. if you screw up or hit a rough patch just keep going. for me it also helped to read other people's stories.
