Sometimes I take notes like that in tiny text on a paper bookmark.

Nice tip on the paperclip. Thanks. I've been using a few sheets of the large sticky notes instead of loose paper or a whole notebook. Seems to work well.

Back when I still bought books in stores, I used to use the receipt both as a bookmark & for taking notes. Made me cultivate both a terse note-taking style and tiny handwriting.
