@webdevMason. I’m a fan of lambda and the opportunity it helps create. However with reasonable decision making this is just not true. Many high schools offer college credit. Community colleges keep costs low. Lots of grants for STEM degrees. -
The word 'traditional' in her tweet is vague but obviously implies private university tuition. You seem to be interpreting it pretty specifically and pretty differently.

The issue is that people get degrees that don’t produce skills. The math on those degrees does not work well. Also, they maintain high standards of living thinking it will be easy to pay off....
