You’ve read Caplan’s book where he uses people *not* doing this as an example of why education is mostly signalling, and you agree with the broad strokes of the book. So do you think people should give up the signal? (I dropped out too; just seems hard in not-tech world).
I think people should understand what they’re buying and make their own choices accordingly, but also just generally spend more time looking for secret doors in their lives
