I’ve been noticing lately, Martech tools are moving towards being the systems of record (customer data) & systems of delivery (customer-facing actions) while tools like Segment, http://Tray.io , Workato are becoming the systems of engagement (workflows, jobs etc.) Wdyt?

Are you picturing something like Databox but with functionality that connects directly to solutions in your marketing stack?

Haven’t personally checked Databox, they just aggregate marketing data right? I’m imagining workflows, jobs on top of the data layer. You don’t have to login to 15+ tools to configure diff workflows, instead manage from a single dashboard.
