In 2020 I pinned a tweet gathering threads of what I had done. I really enjoyed it, even if I wasn't great at keeping it all up to date. This is for 2021's threads. I doubt it is of much interest to anyone else.

It's and this tome of awesomeness by just landed on my doormat. The third footnote made me laugh out loud. May I recommend you buy it and then book a place at the booklaunch tomorrow?

A copy of the book Little Wimmin by Figs in Wigs on a rather battered wooden tabletop.

We have one week left on our and if you could tell people that would make us very happy. Particularly focus on any very right-wing millionaires you know who are feeling self-destructive and hypocritical.

increasingly convinced that 1998's My Favourite Game riff could be inspired by Shampoo's 1994 Trouble, but up a tone & about 10 bpm faster? (noisy demo below w/ -Carter's cover for closer tempo)

    3. Maraoke Lockdown #15. Twitch. Again the voice of the balls, but no real inspired facts. Behind the scenes, added a song to the system after we'd started. Sang Nights in White Satin about Fights in Tight Spaces with a slide whistle instrumental.

    2. Gary and the Crisp Factory. Weirdos comedy for Leicester Comedy Festival on Zoom. I ran sound effects and narrated. So much fun. I'd love to do these shows again because I know I could squeeze better tech out of the resources, but the rough edges are part of the charm.

    10. A difficult to describe garment. Based on a baseball jersey pattern and made out of an old polyester mesh advertising banner. Note the colour matched plastic poppers. Almost all the sewing is by my mum. She's a lot better than me.

    9. TV stand. A 3" riser for our TV so it doesn't get in the way of the speakers and vice versa. Made from an old shelf.

    5. Prop book for Gary and the Crisp Factory. Sharpie on an old hardback, but I think it looks pretty good. I might hollow it out and keep crisps in there.

    9. Lupin S1 (2021) Netflix. Named after and obsessed by Leblanc's Lupin, our protagonist models himself as the titular gentleman thief. First three episodes are great, last two literally lose the plot. Has this ever been done with Holmes? (a character deciding to be Holmes)

    8. The Great British Sewing Bee S4 (2016) iPlayer. I just want lovely things. Nice people being nice to each other because nobody is incentivising being nasty. My favourite won, but I'd not have been sad with any outcome.

    24. The Pink Panther Strikes Again (1976) d. Blake Edwards. Film 4. One of the films I watched on repeat as a kid. Dreyfus has gone mad and holds the world ransom to kill Clouseau, who inevitably wins. So much weirder and ruder than I remember, and so many slow silent sequences.

    23. The Lost World: Jurassic Park (1997) d. Steven Spielberg. ITV 2. Look, if it's Sunday and there's a Jurassic Park or a Bond on, that's me turning my brain off for a couple of hours. Rich stupid guys gonna die stupidly.

    22. Two Way Stretch (1960) d. Robert Day. TPTV. Sellers, Lodge and Cribbins are nearly due out of jail, but there's a jewel heist going down and maybe prison is the perfect alibi. Lots of fun skits before we get down to the robbery, which inevitably frustrates at the end.
