This is gut-wrenching news. Cecil was such a champion for environmental justice, clean energy and wealth-building for communities of color. This is an unbelievable loss. A beloved, inspirational leader. I am blessed to have known him. My prayers for his family and @weact4ej

Oh my goodness. I am so incredibly sorry for this loss

I'm in shock. This is a irreparable loss to so many of us. My thoughts and support are with his family, and the many, many communities that consider him family.
