It's a bit too early to tell for sure, but applying this .REG file and rebooting appears to block foistware on all Windows 10 SKUs for me: https://gist.github.com/wdormann/49f1807431b0d5b5cd151337e6478f20 … I'd be interested if anybody else has success or failure using this strategy.

Note that this is an HKCU change. So if you have more than one user, they'll all need the reg change as well to block the foistware. Did you ever wonder why it takes so long to log into a different user account after a Win10 version update? "Leave everything to us" indeed.pic.twitter.com/rAZCjFdGRB

I thought applocker only works on enterprise SKUs

Only Enterprise will *enforce* AppLocker rules. Pro will let you create, for some reason. But the one VM I have that does NOT have foistware was the one where I created an AppLocker rule. But I couldn't reproduce after reverting the snapshot. I'm confused as well.
