Those apps are still on the Play store. e.g. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.anymore.penguindrive … https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.qmapp.flashlightpro … Are you saying that the author temporarily distributed malware, but stopped? The malware-infected apps were look-alikes? (in which case your screenshot is worthless)
I think they’re taking purely from their product point of view, ie they blocked them in Sophos MDM solution (I think)
I'm pondering which scenario is less horrible.
It's malware and:
- they didn't bother telling @Google
- they told Google, but Google doesn't care
- it's a look-alike, so slander author to drive sales
It's NOT malware and:
