Again: CVE-2017-11882 is not a concern for systems that have system-wide mandatory ASLR enabled (see https://www.kb.cert.org/vuls/id/817544 for details for Win8 or newer systems). Think about this if you suspect there may ever be another vulnerability like this in any software on your system.

I agree, most apps don't try to execute code from non-executable memory blocks but how can one be sure? Devs can do strange things, and Equation Editor is something of a black box at this point.
