      Calc is launched because it is inbuilt binary, what I was saying is that a real threat won’t be able to download and save payload on disk.

      Not true - I just tried it, PowerShell spawns and downloads (and runs) RAT without prompt.

      Right. Once you've got arbitrary command execution, you're only a short hop away from arbitrary code execution.

          Yeah you can use rundll32 too to spawn a payload in a DLL rather than using cmd.exe (which thankfully nobody seems to do yet)
