Anyone seen any decent, free solutions for sniffing physical RX and TX on serial ports without a logic analyser (i.e. USB serial adapters)?

How do you interleave the two adapters?

At least in the scenario that I outlined, there's only one adapter. That is, a USB-Serial adapter, like what FTDI provides. https://www.ftdichip.com/Products/Cables/USBTTLSerial.htm … If you have a 3.3v TTL USB adapter (the most common, IIRC), and a 3.3v device, then all you need to do is: Tx-Rx Rx-Tx Gnd-Gndpic.twitter.com/ypeIuVbMIh
