Has there been any reporting of why they couldn't resume operations yet? We know they paid ransom but nothing on where the failure was after that

they didn't say, it's possible they didn't receive the decrypter, or they trashed the crypted files in error

Company hasn't responded to media requests. They didn't answer inquiries from local press, me, ThreatPost, and a bunch of others.

There was an interesting comment from an employee who was suggesting the company was playing possum, mimicking a ransomware attack, to justify letting go 300 employees.

Some said the firm's employees couldn't have been able to carry on their work (it's a telemarketing firm) for the past 2 months because of the attack; however, the ransomware might have just hit the business-side of things, rather than the call centers.

It breaks my heart to hear that some folks might see fewer unsolicited robocalls that they so enjoy.
