Quick scanner to check your Pulse Secure VPN versions. You can use it to detect if your server is vulnerable to CVE-2019-11510 and others. https://gist.github.com/rxwx/d07495f790d62029b12065c38ac2a86a …pic.twitter.com/VWrRDhVYAU

AFAIK this is not reliable. The administrator controls what Windows software version gets deployed. This is not related to the software on the box as far as I know. @GossiTheDog

I think what Tay is saying is that the scanner in this thread appears to report the software version of Pulse Network Connect (NC), which has been EOL'd last year, which is not necessarily indicative of the Pulse Secure version running on the VPN gateway. https://kb.pulsesecure.net/articles/Pulse_Technical_Bulletin/TSB43810 …

Aye. I think they're just better checking if they're vulnerable or not via the exploit.https://twitter.com/buffaloverflow/status/1164853118594637824?s=20 …

I think what @SwiftOnSecurity is saying is that this check works by checking what client version is being pushed by the VPN server. This is usually fine because the firmware comes bundled with matching client version (see screenies), however administrators *can* change that. (1) pic.twitter.com/LkTly8gUJQ

Sigh. I blame Twitter "threading" for me not seeing that this was already answered.
