I've always hated the newer "Enable Content" banner in Office and viewed the older pop-up as probably less ineffectual.* But what if an attacker could trigger that pop-up and it kept...well, popping up? I remember that. Good article. Honestly, I don't know what to think about the Office Security Team's laxitude toward macros still eating security alive in 2019. I guess they just come into work and go "Well, people can turn on solid protections if they know and care. Oh well."
