1/ I bought three "endurance" micro SD cards from http://Amazon.com (Samsung, SanDisk, SiliconPower) to test for endurance on a Raspberry Pi, how often I can keep overwriting them until they fail. Does anybody have a good suggestion for how I might test them?

2/ I'm thinking of a simple program that continuously writes 1-gigabyte files in a round robin fashion, reading back the old files before deleting them to see if they haven't been corrupted. This program will also measure the time this takes, which should slowly degrade over time

I hear that f3 is an option for testing for fake-capacity cards. I suppose it may work as well for long-term reliability testing if you're patient enough.http://en.linuxreviews.org/HOWTO_test_SD_cards_and_identify_fake_ones_(mostly_sold_on_ebay) …
