Yeah, I had tried this with no success. Upon further investigation, though, the resulting system *does* indicate that it's in test mode (no signature checking). But VirtualKD isn't activated. Perhaps that menu option does something more? Or VirtualKD bug?pic.twitter.com/AlZ8NqIhc4

On latest Windows 10, along with Test Signing Mode, you also need to disable verification of SHA256/EV certs which is enforced on kernel-mode drivers: [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\CI\Policy] "UpgradedSystem"=dword:00000001
