That is, maybe your test case doesn't need lazy symbol binding? Which seems to fail.
OK, I now see what's going on here. Upon downloading the latest CrashWrangler and seeing that the latest binary is still called "exc_handler_sierra", I assumed that it hadn't changed since Sierra. This was an incorrect assumption. With the latest exc_handler_sierra, it works.
